the pretty village of Beddgelert in North Wales, Si Yr Afon was built in 1841 as a meeting place (it is still known locally by some as 'Ty Club', the 'Club House'), and today provides comfortable family holiday accommodation for 2 to 6 people. Downstairs There is also a separate sitting room accessed from the lounge/diner, with another colour TV, comfy seating, and outlook to the river. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge freezer, a washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, a full size electric cooker, a dishwasher, plus kettle and toaster. There is plenty of storage space, and a full compliment of all the usual culinary equipment and kitchen essentials. All kitchen cleaning equipment is provided, including tea towels. Upstairs At the rear of the cottage there are two other bedrooms, both with double beds, and both with spectacular views over the tree-lined River Glaslyn and the mountains. All the bedrooms include wardrobes, have ample drawer space, and electric fan heaters. Upstairs there are also 2 shower rooms, both of which include a toilet, washbasin, and electric shower. Outside A French door at the rear of the lounge/diner leads out to a patio with garden furniture, a quiet retreat which overlooks the picturesque river, and which is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
